Christmas Day..... in a changing life
looks like most other days
except for a whirlwind of cooking and preparation for the afternoon ahead.
I spend the time in gratitude
for a warm home and people who love me.
for memories of Christmas past - and fond thoughts for my children and their children this special morning
And a hope that I do not let my life run away with me
That I can
each day
enjoy the little things that make life special
That I can do a little
each day
to prepare a little 'specialness' for tomorrow
That I can be eternally grateful
and joyful
for the opportunity to be present in the world.
I have JOY now
and am ready for MORE!
