Book Review: The Widows of Malabar Hill by Sujata Massey

The Widows of Malabar Hill by Sujata Massey

Oh my goodness!! I loved it! A light mystery interwoven with a little historical fiction and enough cultural diversity and women's issues to keep my brain thoroughly delighted the whole way through! Set in 1920's Bombay, the female protagonist must solve a crime while navigating the culture of female seclusion and women's legal rights in her country. I am devastated that my library does not have any more of the author's works.... I will have to hunt them down!
